Report GBPPromote data in Looker Studio.

Your Google Business Profile numbers already sit next to Ads, GA4 and Search Console in the client’s head. They should sit next to them in the report too. Pull rankings, reviews, calls and profile health straight into the dashboard you already send.

The short answer

The GBPPromote Looker Studio connector puts your Google Business Profile data into Looker Studio as a data source, so you can chart it, blend it with other Google sources and drop it into the report template you already use.

It reads the same numbers the GBPPromote dashboard shows — visibility, geo-grid rank, reviews, leads and profile health — for 1 location or for every location in the account. There is no separate connector fee and no reporting tier. If you have a GBPPromote plan, you have this.

Why it matters

One report, not two tabs and a screenshot.

Most local SEO reporting ends up as a PDF from one tool pasted beside a dashboard from another. The client notices.

1It lands where the client already looksIf the monthly report is a Looker Studio link, local search should be a page in it, not an attachment.
2Blend it with paid and organicPut map calls next to Ads calls, and profile views next to GA4 sessions, on the same date range.
3Build the template onceMake the page you want, then point it at the next client. No rebuilding per account.
4Every branch, not a summaryLocation, city and store code come through as fields, so you can filter to 1 site or roll up the whole estate.
5Your brand on itLooker Studio reports carry your theme and your logo. Nothing in the chart says who supplied the data.
6Nobody exports a CSV againThe report refreshes against live data instead of against whatever somebody downloaded last Tuesday.
The fields

What comes through.

The same data the dashboard is built on, as dimensions and metrics you can chart.

●

Locations

Business name, store code, city, address and group. Use them as filters or as the breakdown on any chart.

●

Visibility and rank

Visibility score out of 100, average map rank, share of the top 3, and geo-grid position across 25 points per keyword.

●

Reviews

Total, new in the period, replied, still waiting, star rating, reply rate and average response time.

●

Leads

Calls, direction requests, website clicks and profile views, by day and by location.

●

Profile health

Optimization score, what is missing on each profile, photos added and posts that Google accepted or rejected.

●

AI visibility

Where the business shows up across Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude.

●

Competitors

Who else holds the map spots in each catchment, and how that share moves over the period.

●

Dates

A proper date field, so Looker Studio date controls, period comparisons and trend lines all work as normal.

Field names and the exact breakdown available depend on your plan and on what each location has been tracking. If you need a field that is not listed, tell us what you are building and we will say whether it is there.
Getting it in

Connect once, then it is just a data source.

After the first hook-up it behaves like any other Looker Studio source. Add it to a report, pick the fields, done.

Authorise

One branch for a single client, a group for a region, or the whole account for a brand roll-up. The same connector serves all 3, so agencies build 1 template and re-point it.

Worth building

Pages people actually ask for.

Four that answer the question a client or a head of marketing is really asking.

■Which branches are failing. A table of every location sorted by weakest visibility, with what is missing on each profile.
■Did the work move anything. Visibility and map top-3 share this period against the period before, per location.
■Where the calls came from. Calls, directions and website clicks from the profile, next to your Ads and GA4 numbers on one date range.
■Are we answering reviews. Reply rate and response time by branch, so the sites nobody watches show up.
Blending is the point. On its own a GBP chart is a nice slide. Next to paid, organic and analytics on the same dates, it becomes the answer to where the budget should go next quarter.

FAQs

Questions before you wire it up.

What is the GBPPromote Looker Studio connector?

It is a data source that brings your Google Business Profile data out of GBPPromote and into Looker Studio, so you can chart it, blend it with other sources and put it in the report you already send clients.

Does it cost extra?

No. There is no connector fee and no reporting tier. It is part of every GBPPromote plan, which starts at $5.33 per location per month from 8 locations up. There is no location minimum.

Can I report on more than 1 location?

Yes. Location, city, store code and group come through as fields, so the same report can show a single branch, a region, or every location in the account. Agencies usually build 1 template and re-point it at each client.

Can I blend it with Google Ads, GA4 or Search Console?

Yes. Once it is a data source in Looker Studio it blends like any other. Putting map calls next to paid calls on the same date range is the most common reason people set this up.

How fresh is the data?

It reads live from your GBPPromote account rather than from an export, so a report shows what the dashboard shows. Rank data follows the scan schedule, which is weekly by default, and review and performance data follows what Google has returned for each location.

Is it white label?

The Looker Studio report carries your own theme, logo and colours, and nothing in a chart identifies the data source to the client. If you would rather not build in Looker Studio at all, white label reporting is included too.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You do not write queries or touch an API key. You authorise the account, pick the locations and drag fields onto the page like any other Looker Studio source.

What if the field I need is not there?

Tell us what you are trying to chart. The connector exposes what the platform tracks, so if something is measured in GBPPromote and missing from your report, that is worth a conversation rather than a workaround.
