GBPPromote vs Uberall: what each one does and who it suits
Uberall is a location marketing platform for brands with many physical locations. It pushes your business information out across search engines, maps, directories and social platforms. GBPPromote is narrower on purpose. It manages Google Business Profile for every location, tracks map rank per branch and handles reviews, at a published price from $5.33 per location. Here is where each one fits.

The difference between GBPPromote and Uberall
Uberall is a location marketing platform. It keeps your business information the same everywhere, across search engines, maps, directories and social platforms, from 1 system. If you run 300 branches and you want 1 hours change to land on every channel your brand appears on, that is the job Uberall was built for.
GBPPromote is built around Google Business Profile. Every profile sits in one workspace. You edit 23 fields across any locations you pick, scan map rank around each branch, answer every review from one inbox, and send a report for 1 shop, a region, a franchisee or the whole network.
Pick the one that matches the problem you have right now. If the problem is the same information showing up correctly on a lot of channels, look at Uberall. If the problem is that you cannot tell which of your branches is losing on Google Maps, look at us.
- Uberall spreads 1 record across many channels
- GBPPromote goes deeper on Google Business Profile
- Published pricing from $5.33 per location
- No location minimum and unlimited team seats
What Uberall does well
Uberall does listings properly. It pushes your location data out to a wide network of search engines, maps, directories and social platforms, and it keeps that data matching. That is harder than it sounds once you pass 100 locations.
It covers more than listings. There is a store locator you can put on your own site, local pages, review management, local social posting, and analytics over the top. For a retail network that wants the locator from the same vendor that holds the location data, that is a real advantage.
It is strong in Europe. If you run locations across several European countries and need local channels covered as well as Google, that matters, and it is not something we claim to match.
Pricing is quote based. You speak to their sales team and they build a number around your network. We are not going to print their prices here, because we cannot verify them. There is more detail in our Uberall review and our list of Uberall alternatives.

- Wide publisher network for listings
- Store locator and local pages from the same vendor
- Reviews and local social posting
- Analytics across the channels it manages
- Quote based pricing, sold through a sales call
GBPPromote and Uberall compared on 11 points
Here is the same comparison in a table. The rows are the things multi-location buyers ask about first, roughly in the order they ask them.
2 notes on how to read it. Uberall prices, ratings and review counts are not in the table. Their published model is a quote, so that is what the row says. The GBPPromote column is our own product, so check it on the free trial rather than taking our word for it.

| What you are deciding on | Uberall | GBPPromote |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Quote based. You talk to sales before you see a number | Published on the website. $16 for 1 location, $37 flat for 2 to 7, $5.33 per location from 8 up |
| Location minimum | Built and sold for large networks | None, and no cap. 1 location or 500 on the same product |
| Team seats | Packaged and priced by agreement | Unlimited and included. No per-seat charge |
| What it manages directly | Listings, reviews, local social and a store locator across many channels | Google Business Profile for every location, plus citation gap checks |
| Directory reach | Wide publisher network. This is the core of the product | Google direct. We check other directories for gaps, we do not push 1 record out to hundreds of sites |
| Reviews | Review management across the channels it covers | 1 inbox for every location, AI drafted replies in your tone, approval before publishing, low rating alerts |
| Posting | Local social posting across its supported channels | Google, Facebook and Instagram from 1 calendar |
| Permissions per location | Brand governance across a large network | 3 levels set per location: full edit, edit into a draft for approval, read only |

What GBPPromote costs, and what a seat costs
GBPPromote pricing is on the website. 1 location is $16 a month. 2 to 7 locations is $37 flat. From 8 locations up it is $5.33 per location. So 40 locations is about $213 a month and 200 locations is about $1,066, with every tool included. There is no enterprise tier to negotiate and nothing held back for a higher plan.
There is no location minimum and no cap. A 3 location dental group and a 500 location coffee chain use the same product at the same published rate.
Team seats are unlimited and included. You are not charged per person, so adding 60 franchisees or 12 agency staff costs nothing. Per-seat pricing is usually what stops a head office giving every branch manager their own login.
Each person gets 1 of 3 access levels, and you set it per location: full edit, edit into a draft that waits for approval, or read only. A branch manager can write a post about their own shop and head office decides whether it goes live.

- $16 for 1 location
- $37 flat for 2 to 7 locations
- $5.33 per location from 8 up
- No minimum and no cap
- Unlimited seats at no extra cost
- 3 access levels, set per location
What GBPPromote manages directly, and what it does not
Be clear on this before you buy, because it is the main difference between the 2 products.
GBPPromote manages Google Business Profile directly. Pick your locations, change a field once, and it goes to all of them. There are 23 fields you can edit this way, including hours, holiday hours, categories, services, menus, descriptions, attributes and photos. You see exactly what will change before it sends. Holiday hours across 40 branches become 1 job instead of 40.
We also check citation gaps. We look at directories and show you where your location details are missing or wrong, so you can go and fix them. That is not the same as pushing 1 record out to hundreds of publishers. We do not do that, and you should not buy us expecting it. If wide directory syndication is your main requirement, Uberall or Yext is the better purchase, and our listing management page says the same thing.
We also do not find, clean up or suppress duplicate listings. If duplicates are your problem, report them to Google directly or buy a tool built for that job.
Profile protection watches every location and tells you when a field changes on its own. One click puts it back.

- 23 fields, bulk edited across any locations you pick
- Preview every change before it sends
- Citation gap checks across directories
- No directory syndication and no duplicate removal
- Alerts when a field changes, with one-click restore
Reviews from every location in one inbox
Every review from every location lands in one inbox. Each row carries the city and the store code, so you always know which branch it came from. You can filter by star rating, or by the reviews that still have no reply. The quiet branches are usually where unanswered reviews pile up, and a single inbox is how you find them.
Replies are drafted by AI in the tone you set for your brand, and you approve them before anything publishes. Templates rotate, so 40 replies across 40 branches do not read identically. A review left in French gets a reply drafted in French while your team works in English. You get an alert as soon as a low rating lands anywhere in the network.
Uberall handles reviews too, across the channels it covers. If most of your reviews arrive on Google, our inbox is the deeper one. If they arrive from several platforms as well as Google, count that before you decide.

- 1 inbox for every location, with city and store code per row
- Filter by rating or by reviews with no reply
- AI drafts replies in your brand tone
- Approval before anything publishes
- Templates rotate so replies differ
- Alerts when a low rating lands
Map rank measured for each location
Geo-grid measurement is not what Uberall leads on in its own published positioning. It is the clearest gap this page is about.
Google Maps results change street to street. A branch can rank 2nd next to the shop and 12th a few miles away. One city-wide ranking number hides that completely, and it is the number most reporting gives you.
So every location is scanned on a grid of 25 points around its own address. Each branch gets 1 local visibility score out of 100, and that score is tracked week on week. Your location list and your reports sort by it, so the weakest branch sits at the top of the page instead of being buried in an average.
Each location gets 100 geo-grid credits a month. 1 map pin uses 1 credit.
We also check whether 6 AI engines name your locations: Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude.

- 25 map points scanned around each location
- 1 visibility score out of 100 per branch
- Tracked week on week with movement shown
- 100 geo-grid credits per location each month
- 6 AI engines checked for your locations
Posting and reporting across the network
Posts go out from 1 calendar to Google, Facebook and Instagram. Pick the locations, write the post once, and schedule it. A regional offer goes to 1 region without landing in the wrong city, because your locations are grouped by region, brand or franchisee.
Reports run at the level you need: 1 shop, 1 region, 1 franchisee, or the whole network. The portfolio report ranks every branch and names the best and the weakest, which is what a head office meeting actually needs on a Monday. Reports carry your logo instead of ours, so an agency or a brand team can send one as it is.
Uberall reports across the channels it manages, and that is a wider set of channels than ours. Ours goes deeper on Google and on map rank per branch. Read that difference against where your customers actually find you.

- 1 calendar for Google, Facebook and Instagram
- Post to a region, a brand or a franchisee group
- Reports per location, region, franchisee or network
- Best and weakest branch named in the report
- White-labelled with your logo on every plan
When Uberall is the better choice
Uberall is the right buy for a real set of buyers, and a comparison page that pretends otherwise is not worth reading.
Pick Uberall if your main job is keeping location data correct across a wide set of channels rather than Google alone. Pick it if you want listing distribution, a store locator and local pages from the same vendor. Pick it if brand governance across a very large network is the reason you are buying, and a sales-led rollout with an onboarding team is what you want.
Pick GBPPromote if your customers find you through Google, you want map rank measured per branch, you want a price you can budget against today without a sales call, and you want every manager and franchisee to have a login without paying per seat.
You can also run both. If Uberall is handling your distribution well and your gap is measurement and Google depth, adding us alongside it is a sensible stack rather than a swap.

- Uberall for wide channel distribution across many platforms
- Uberall for a locator and local pages from 1 vendor
- GBPPromote for Google depth and per-branch map rank
- GBPPromote for published pricing and free seats
- Running both is a normal answer, not a failure

GBPPromote vs Uberall, answered.
What is the difference between GBPPromote and Uberall?
Uberall is a location marketing platform. It keeps your business information consistent across search engines, maps, directories and social platforms, and it adds a store locator, local pages, reviews and local social posting on top. GBPPromote is built around Google Business Profile. It manages every profile from one workspace, bulk edits 23 fields, scans map rank on 25 points around each location, runs reviews from one inbox and reports per location, region or franchisee. Uberall is the wider platform. GBPPromote goes deeper on Google.
Is GBPPromote cheaper than Uberall?
We cannot answer that with a number, because Uberall pricing is quote based and we will not print figures we cannot verify. What we can tell you is our own price, because it is on the website. 1 location is $16 a month, 2 to 7 locations is $37 flat, and from 8 locations up it is $5.33 per location. Every tool is on every plan and team seats are free. If you want a price you can budget against today without a sales call, that is the practical difference.
Does GBPPromote push listings to hundreds of directories like Uberall?
No. GBPPromote updates Google Business Profile directly and checks directories for citation gaps, so you can see where your details are missing or wrong and go and fix them. It does not push 1 record out to a wide publisher network. If that distribution is your main requirement, Uberall or Yext is the right purchase and we will say so.
Does GBPPromote find or remove duplicate listings?
No. GBPPromote does not find, clean up or suppress duplicate listings, and we would rather say that plainly than let you find out after you pay. If duplicates are the problem you are trying to solve, report them through Google’s own process or buy a tool built for that job.
Can GBPPromote handle reviews across all my locations?
Yes. Every review from every location arrives in one inbox, with the city and the store code on each row. You can filter by star rating or by which reviews still have no reply. AI drafts replies in the tone you set for your brand, templates rotate so replies do not read identically, and you approve before anything publishes. You get an alert as soon as a low rating lands at any location. A review in French gets a reply drafted in French.
Does Uberall do geo-grid map rank tracking?
Uberall leads on location marketing and listings in its own published positioning, not on geo-grid measurement. GBPPromote scans a grid of 25 points around each location’s own address, gives that branch 1 visibility score out of 100 and tracks it week on week, with 100 geo-grid credits per location each month and 1 credit per map pin. If measurement per branch is your gap, that is the clearest reason to add us.
How many team seats do I get with GBPPromote?
Unlimited, and they are included in the price. You are not charged per person, so adding franchisees, regional managers or agency staff costs nothing. Each person gets 1 of 3 access levels, set per location, so a branch manager can work on their own branch while head office keeps access to all of them.
Is there a location minimum, and is there a free trial?
There is no location minimum and no cap. 1 location and 500 locations use the same product with the same tools. The trial is 3 days and does not need a credit card. You can connect your Google accounts, run 1 audit across every location and get your first map scan before you speak to anybody.
Can I use GBPPromote alongside Uberall instead of replacing it?
Yes. Some businesses run 2 subscriptions for exactly this reason. If Uberall is handling your listing distribution across many channels and doing it well, and your gap is map rank measurement, Google Business Profile depth or per-branch reporting, adding GBPPromote next to it is a sensible stack. Replacing makes more sense when nearly all your customers arrive through Google and you are paying for channel distribution you never touch.
Who should choose Uberall instead of GBPPromote?
Choose Uberall if Google is only part of where your customers find you, and you need the same location data correct across many channels. Choose GBPPromote if nearly all of it happens on Google and you want map rank measured branch by branch.
See it on your own locations.
Connect your Google account, let the first scan run, and every location has a score by tomorrow. 3-day free trial, no card.
