Microsoft Copilot, which used to be called Bing Chat, is now showing Google Maps reviews when you search for local businesses.
If you search for something like “restaurants near me” in Copilot, it shows review stars and ratings. But here’s the interesting part: when you click on those reviews, it takes you directly to the business’s Google Maps page.
A GIF also shows how it works.
A user named Nathan Gotch first noticed this and shared screenshots on X (Twitter). It was later confirmed that this happens for most local search queries on Copilot.
So basically, Microsoft Copilot is helping users find local places but is linking to Google Maps for the reviews.
