Google appears to be testing a new AI feature inside Google Business Profile that helps business owners reply to customer reviews more easily. Some users are now seeing a new option in the dashboard that says “Reply to reviews with AI.”
The feature also includes this message: “Use Google AI to create personalised replies that build trust.”
At the moment, this option does not seem to be available for every business. For example, I do not currently see it in my own Google Business Profile dashboard. However, Chandan Mishra recently shared a screenshot of this test on LinkedIn.

He also mentioned that he tested the feature briefly and found it interesting, although it may still need improvement. In his words, “I gave it a quick test, and it looks promising but doesn’t seem fully optimized at this stage.”
Chandan Mishra added that the tool directed him to an older one-star review and asked him to generate a suggested reply. According to him, the AI-generated response was actually quite decent. However, when he tried using the same feature on other unanswered reviews, the option did not appear.
This suggests that Google may still be testing the feature in a limited way, and it may not yet work consistently across all reviews or accounts.
As of now, this feature does not seem to go against Google’s review policies, although there is always a chance that Google may refine the rules or the rollout later.
