Google is preparing to launch another helpful update for Google Business Profile users. After recently introducing the option to schedule Google Posts in advance, the company is now working on recurring scheduling for posts.
This means businesses will soon be able to set a Google Post to repeat automatically on a fixed schedule. For example, if you run a weekly Thursday discount or a monthly event, you will be able to schedule it once and let it publish again and again without manual effort. This update can save time and help businesses stay consistent with their local marketing.
The news was shared by Syed M. Amir Hassan on X. He mentioned that Google Product Manager Mike Gnagy announced this feature during a live workshop. According to the announcement, recurring scheduling will soon be available directly inside Google Business Profile posts.
Screenshots shared during the session suggest that businesses will be able to choose repetition settings for their posts. This is a major improvement for local businesses that rely on Google Posts to promote offers, events, and updates regularly.

Additional notes from the live webinar were also shared by Neeraj Kumar Chaurasia on LinkedIn, where more details about the feature were discussed.
Overall, this update shows that Google is continuing to improve Google Business Profile tools for local SEO. Recurring Google Posts can help businesses stay active, improve visibility, and maintain consistent engagement with customers on Google Search and Maps.
