Google appears to have removed the pagination feature from the Google Local Finder interface. Instead of showing a pagination bar at the bottom, the results now seem to load continuously as users scroll through local business profiles.
Earlier, users could move through local results using page numbers or a pagination option. However, in the latest interface, Google seems to be showing more local business profiles through infinite scroll. This means users can keep scrolling, and more results may continue to appear without a clear page break.
This change was noticed while searching for places that sell bricks in New York City. In the video example, the Local Finder results continue to load through scrolling, but there is no pagination bar when reaching the end of the list.
The update was spotted through X and Local Search Forum.
On X, SEOSage wrote, “I noticed the “see more” options on the Local map pack search results isn’t there anymore… The results now stop at 20 GBP.”
At this point, it is not clear if this is a planned Google update, a test, or a temporary bug. However, it may affect how users browse local search results and how businesses appear in Google Local Finder.
Interestingly, a similar issue with this interface was also seen in November 2025. So, this may be another Google test or a repeat of a previous bug.
For local SEO professionals, this change is important to watch. If Google fully replaces pagination with infinite scroll, it could change how local business listings are viewed, tracked, and analyzed in search results.
