Google has officially rolled out two long-awaited features for Google Posts inside Google Business Profiles. These updates include post scheduling and multi-location publishing, both of which were tested last month and are now fully live for everyone.
Lisa Landsman from Google announced the update on LinkedIn:
She mentioned that the holiday season is a crucial and busy time for local businesses. It is also the perfect opportunity to share offers, updates, and events with customers who are actively searching. These new features are designed to help business owners save time and stay more visible during high traffic periods.
Last month, Google was seen testing Google Posts scheduling and multi-location publishing. Now both features are officially live.
Lisa explained that these updates were developed based on user feedback. She also encouraged everyone to keep sharing suggestions so Google can continue building helpful tools.
Here are the two new features:
Post Scheduling
You can now plan your content ahead of time. Schedule Google Posts for the entire week or month and let them go live automatically at the best time.
Multi-Location Publishing
If you manage multiple business locations, you no longer need to create the same post again and again. You can now publish one post to all your locations with a single click.
These updates make it much easier to keep your Google Business Profile active, engaging, and ready to attract customers during the busy holiday season.
