Google Business Profiles Displays Activities Button for Activity and Ticket Management

Google can show an Activities button within the Google Business Profile dashboard in Google Search. The feature appears to be intended for businesses and venues that offer activities, experiences, or ticket bookings. Bookings are getting their own buttons. Adding a Book Now button is the version you can set up today.

Recently, Vinay Toshniwal shared screenshots of the button on X, leading some users to believe that Google had launched a new feature. However, the functionality has actually been available for a while.

Activity Button

After selecting the Activities button, business owners can add key details about their offerings. These include the activity name, description, price, booking URL, and other information that helps customers understand and book experiences directly through Google. This can be especially useful for attractions, tour operators, museums, and other businesses that sell tickets or reservations.

Add Activities

Google also provides a support document that explains how businesses can manage activities and ticket listings through their Google Business Profiles. The guide covers the information that can be added and how it appears to users.

Although the feature recently gained attention because of the screenshots shared on X, it is not new. BrightLocal had already highlighted the Activities feature several years ago. Still, the renewed discussion serves as a reminder that Google Business Profiles support activity and ticket information, helping businesses provide more booking options and improve the customer experience.
