Some Google Business Profile users are reporting a bug where owner and manager access invites are not working properly. Because of this issue, businesses and agencies may face trouble when trying to give access to other team members, clients, or managers.
According to reports, the invite emails are either not being sent or not being delivered to the invited users. As a result, sharing access to Google Business Profiles has become difficult for some users.
Vinay Toshniwal first reported this issue on X and shared that manager and owner access invitation emails are not being delivered for some profiles.
Later, Claudia Tomina and Kevin, who are both Google product experts in the Google Business Profiles community, also confirmed the problem. Claudia Tomina mentioned on X that she first thought the issue was related to her agency account, but later noticed that other users were facing similar problems too.
However, there is a reported workaround for this issue. Users can try sharing access through the Agency Dashboard by using the Business Group Code.
For now, this bug may create extra work for businesses, local SEO teams, and digital marketing agencies that manage Google Business Profiles for multiple locations. Since access management is an important part of Google Business Profile optimization, users may need to use the workaround until the issue is fixed.
