Google seems to be testing direct hotel booking links inside AI Mode responses. This means users may soon be able to see and click official hotel booking links directly from the AI-generated answer.
This update was first spotted by Brad Brewer, who shared a screenshot on LinkedIn. He wrote that Google is now showing direct hotel booking pathways inside conversational results. In simple words, Google AI Mode may now bring official hotel websites into the AI discovery experience, along with online travel agency listings.
Here is his screenshot:

This could be a big win for hotels. Instead of sending all booking traffic to third-party travel platforms, Google may help hotels get more direct traffic from AI search results. As a result, hotel brands could get more visibility, more direct bookings, and possibly better control over the customer journey.
However, this feature does not seem to be fully available yet. I could not replicate it, so it may only be a limited test for now.
Still, it is an important update to watch. If Google continues adding direct booking links inside AI Mode, it could change how people discover and book hotels through Google Search.
Do you see this feature in your AI Mode results?
