Google is testing a new disclaimer in its AI Mode within Search Labs. This is to make users aware of personalized dining recommendations. Such disclaimer appears when you search for restaurant suggestions and reads, “Personalized for you: Now when you ask for restaurant recommendations in AI Mode, you’ll get more relevant responses that use your Search and Maps activity.”
This change was first spotted by SEO expert Brodie Clark, who shared a screenshot of it on X. He noted that while Google had previously announced plans to bring this feature to Labs, the disclaimer itself had not been widely seen before. According to Brodie, users often value personalized responses, which makes this a logical step for Google as it continues testing AI features.

As this feature is limited, it is clear that Google is experimenting with ways to improve user experience. This is by tailoring search results based on activity history. This could make finding the perfect restaurant easier and faster for users. The best part is that this is all while also showing how AI-driven personalization may shape future search experiences.
